TCMA, Texas Cast Metals Association, was formed in 1992 to promote the metal casting industry and to educate legislators at both state and federal levels. They also wanted to promote legislation concerning issues such as clean air, safety in the work place, and storm water. Currently, the TCMA is comprised of engineering firms, environmental consultants, scrap metal dealers, and energy consultants. However, the association is diversifying to include other metal industry members such as die casters, steel mills, and other foundries, as well as other peripheral businesses who share a common goal in promoting the needs of the metals industry.
The Building Owners & Managers Association is a primary source of information on office building development, energy consumption patterns, local & national building codes, etc. BOMA was founded in 1907 and the main goal is focused on actively and responsibly representing and promoting the interests of the commercial real estate industry.
Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) is a national trade association for merit shop electrical and systems contractors. IEC believes in developing and fostering a stronger economy through the level of quality and services its members provide to the industry.
The North Texas Association of Energy Engineers is one of the largest chapters of AEE, Association of Energy Engineers. AEE has become the nations leading society for energy professionals. NTAEE seeks topics of mutual interest to its members & brings in speakers and provides demonstrations which address specific areas of energy engineering and management.
The Texas Electricity Professionals Association is a self regulated body aimed at standardizing processes & ensuring aggregators, brokers & Consultants (ABC) maintain a level of Market knowledge and responsibility. A TEPA has also set forth ethical standards that all members are held to in an effort to maintain the integrity & honor in the Texas market.
With 80 U.S. chapters, 13 international chapters, and several other partnerships around the globe, the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) has been the source for education, resources, information, and membership for real estate management professionals for more than 75 years. An affiliate of the National Association of Realtors(r), IREM is the only professional real estate management association serving both the multi-family and commercial real estate sectors.
