Giving Back To The Community
Rapid Power Management believes in giving back to the community not only on a personal level, but a corporate one as well. Cash Donations are not the only type of support we choose – We also donate goods, our time and services. Please find a list of the charities RPM supports throughout the year..
Rotary - JD Dodson
As a proud Rotarian since 2007, I believe in the world-wide mission that changing the world begins with a commitment to “service above self.” With more than 1.2 million members and 34,000 clubs worldwide, you’ll find members volunteering in local communities and abroad to support education and job training, provide clean water, combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, and eradicate polio.

Momentous Institute - JD Dodson
My charity of choice is Momentous Institute. Since 1968, this organization has combined my two loves together. My love of golf and my love for my kids.
This statement from the Salesmanship Club, the main sponsor of the organization says it all, “Transforming Kids Lives.”
Here is a quick snippet from Momentous web-site that describes how they accomplish this mission: a leading provider of therapeutic and education services, Momentous Institute impacts 6,000 kids and family members each year. We tailor our approach to the specific needs of each child and their family situation and focus on building and repairing social emotional health — developing kids who become self-regulated, good communicators, problem-solvers, empathetic, grateful, gritty and optimistic.
It is hard to pick a charity that you feel you can trust to put your donation dollars to work, since 1968 this organization has proven year over year to truly make a difference in kid’s lives. You can donate and learn more at:
Camp Sweeney - Christa Taylor
A friend of ours, Nicole Wilson, passed away unexpectedly due to complications from Type I Diabetes. She was 15 years old. Each summer, she looked forward to attending Camp Sweeney so I wanted to honor her by making sure other children living with diabetes might experience the education and fun this camp offers.
When a child is diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, his or her life is changed forever. Insulin injections, pump site changes, blood-sugar tests, and a diet plan become a part of the daily routine for a child with diabetes. Unfortunately, while many children know what is necessary to stay in good control of their condition, they find it hard to live the kind of regimented lifestyle which will allow them to live long and healthy lives.
Camp Sweeney, believes that simply teaching children about diabetes is just not enough. Their goal is that every child who attends camp will not only learn about his or her condition, but will find the inner strength each day to do what it takes to live a healthy lifestyle. It’s a lifestyle.

Peace Officers' Memorial Foundation - Jared Patterson
On July 7, 2016 the Dallas, Texas community was rocked when five police officers tragically lost their lives in the line of duty. Nine others were injured. In their memory, I’ve chosen to support fallen officers and their families through the Peace Officers’ Memorial Foundation.
The POMF honors the fallen by providing assistance and support in a line of duty death. The foundation also offers college scholarships, sponsors the biennial Memorial Service at the State Capitol and supports research to find and honor all Texas Peace Officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

City House - Crystal Renyer
I strongly believe that helping at-risk youth gives them a chance at a better life and lets them know that someone does love and care for them. I have volunteered, for several years, at My Friends House as a play date. I have also helped at fundraising events and birthday parties.
